Haruno Sakura couldn't believe it. She looked at the pregnancy test she held in her hand, and back at the box. It said there that two blue lines meant she was pregnant. 'But that can't be true! I'm imagining it there! I want to have Sasuke-kun's baby so bad, I'm hallucinating,' Sakura thought to herself, but she wasn't. She was indeed carrying Uchiha Sasuke's baby.
"Sakura?" Sasuke asked, concerned. She hadn't been feeling well the past couple of days, and he was worreid about her. Sakura walked toward him and slowly showed him the orgnancy test. Sasuke looked at the test, then the box, then the test again.
"Sakura, is this, true?" Sasuke asked hesitantly, not sure if he should be overjoyed or scared. Sakura nodded, a smile slowly creeping onto her face.
"Sakura!" Sasuke whispered, hugging the young kounoichi. It had only been two months since Sakura moved in with Sasuke, and he didn't think anything like this would happen so fast. He had been so wrapped up in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed Sakura's tears.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing, Sasuke-kun, i'm just so happy! I never thought this would happen to me, to us!" Sakura cried, her face beautiful, even tear streaked. Sasuke pulled her closer to him and kissed soft, cherry-red lips. Gently at first, then a little harder. They broke apart when they heard knocking on the door. Sasuke went to go answer it.
"Hey Sasuke!" Uzumaki Naruto yelled as if Sasuke was a mile away.
"Argh! Naruto, could you be any more louder?" Sasuke asked, annoyed, as he rubbed his ear. Naruto huffed at him.
"I only came to see how Sakura-chan is doing! How is she, by the way?" Nasruto asked, a little quieter this time. Sasuke took a deep breath.
"She's pregnant. Well, we're pregnant, I guess," Sasuke said. Naruto's grin spread from ear to ear.
"Well it's about time!" He said, slapping Sasuke on the back.
"So you two have been having fun, I see," Naruto winked at Sasuke. Sasuke was contemplated throwing a kunai at Naruto when Sakura walked into the room.
"I thought I heard you, Naruto!" Sakura said, smiling at her former teammate. Sure, they didn;t go on missions as a team anymore, seeing as they were all ANBU now, but there friendship had never dwindled.
"Sakura-chan! I heard the good news!" Naruto said, hugging Sakura. Sakura blushed.
"Oh, Sasuke-kun already told you? I was going to tell you, but it seems he beat me to it!" Sakura laughed.
"And how's Hinata and the twins?" Sakura asked, motioning for him to sit on the couch while she went into the kitchen to get some tea.
"Good, they're just learning how to walk, but they still cry ALL night! Hinata and I haven't gotten a wink of sleep for days!" Naruto said exasperatedly. Sakura laughed and Sasuke smirked.
"What are you smirking at, Sasuke? That's gonna be you soon, isn't it?" Naruto asked jokingly. Sasuke shook his head.
"Dobe," He said, sitting in the chair opposite him.
"Oh Naruto, have you heard about Neji and Tenten?" Sakura asked, bringing in the tea and serving it to Naruto and Sasuke.
"Yeah, I have, actually," Naruto said, accepting the cup from Sakura. She placed the tray on the table and sat on the couch next to the blonde ninja.
"I thought it was so cute! I knew they were going to get married from the start!" Sakura giggled at how awkward Tenten had been around Neji when they were thirteen, and now, twenty years old and they were married!
"How'd Lord Hiashi take the news of their marriage?" Sasuke asked. He wasn't usually one to gossip, but the fact that the Hyuuga Genious married Tenten of all people interested him. Not that Tenten was a bad person, Sasuke liked her enough, but Lord Hiashi might not. He wanted Neji and Hinata to marry people "Worthy of the Hyuuga name," And Naruto and Tenten hardly fit the description.
"Well, I guess he wasn't as mad about those two than he was about me and Hinata. Especially when he found out that Hinata was pregnant before marriage, I thought he would kill me!" Naruto cried, finishing his tea. Their conversation was interrupted by another knock at the door. This time, Sakura answered it.
"Neji! Hey!" Sakura greeted the Hyuuga, surprised that he was there.
"Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto," Neji said, nodding to the two men inside, who nodded back.
"Uh, Sakura, could I speak to you?" Neji asked hesitantly. Sakura looked at him inquiringly but consented.
"I'll be right back, Naruto, make yourself at home, Sasuke, try not to kill him!" Sakura smiled at the two and went with Neji.
"So what's up?" Sakura asked. She could tell there was alot on his mind. Sakura was good at telling what people were thinking.
"Well, I just wanted to ask you something, something I know you're good at," Neji said, with a hint of, was that shyness?
"Oh? What?" Sakura asked, looking at him, her hands behind her back.
"Well," Neji started, but stopped abruptly. He thought he heard something, and motioned for Sakura to stay behind him.
"What is it?" Sakura asked, scared.
"Byakugan!" Neji muttered, looking at the bush were he heard human movement.
"I can't believe it...!" Neji said, awestruck. Sakura looked at the now rustling bush. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw who the man that stepped out was.
"You...." Sakura gasped before she and Neji were knocked out cold.
