Sasuke walked away from the ugly scene in the forest. He was angry at himself for thinking that Sakura would be waiting for him with open arms. Instead, she had gone to someone else. Someone named Inuzuka Kiba. What they were doing in the forest together, sweating and laughing escaped him.

'Well, whatever, I can do the same,' Sasuke thought bitterly. He pushed his way past low hanging branches.

"That was a good workout, Kiba!" Sakura said enthusiastically, wiping the sweat from her brow. She and Kiba had been training in the forest for the past three hours, and he had made great progress.

"Thanks," Kiba panted, throwing his jacket on the ground. He leaned heavily against the tree.

"What? Tired already?" Sakura teased. Kiba rolled his eyes, smiling.

"You're as energetic as Naruto," he said exasperatedly. Sakura grinned.

"I take that as a compliment," she giggled. Suddenly, she looked up. She heard an angry grunt and swish of tree branches.

"Who's that?" she asked, frowning. Kiba looked up, sniffing the air.

"Smelled like Sasuke," he noted. Sakura raised an eyebrow.

"What would Sasuke be doing out here?" she asked out loud. Kiba shrugged.

"Beats me; hey, do you want to train some more, or head on in?" Kiba asked, changing the subject. Sakura gazed at the spot where Sasuke had supposedly been moments before for a few more seconds before answering.

"Sure, unless you're too tired," Sakura said, pulling out her kunai. Kiba grinned.

"Bring it on,"

"S-Sasuke-kun!" Hinata stammered, bumping into the Uchiha as she came out of Naruto's office in the Hokage Mansion. Sasuke looked up.

"Oh, hey Hinata; is Naruto up there?" he asked, glancing up at the highest window. Hinata nodded.

"I was just speaking to him, why?" she asked curiously. Sasuke shook his head.

"Nothing, I just wanted to talk to him. Thanks, Hinata," he said, walking up the stairs.

"'Bye Sasuke-kun!" Hinata called over her shoulder as she walked home. Sasuke walked up the stairs leading to Naruto's office, pushing the door open when he got to his room.

"Sasuke?" Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded.

"Hn. Naruto, I wanted to talk to you," Sasuke mumbled. Naruto looked at him curiously.

"Oh? About what?" he asked, half amused, half agitated. Sasuke looked up.

"Naruto, have you noticed something... different about Sakura?" he asked tentativley. Naruto shrugged.

"Not particularly," Naruto answered. Sasuke glared at him meaningfully.

"Think harder," he siad flatly. Naruto obediently racked his brain. Suddenly, like a light bulb, it came to him.

"Oh! She doesn't call you 'Sasuke-kun' anymore!" Naruto yelled triumphantly. Sasuke sighed.

"No, dobe, she's been hanging out with Kiba more often than us," he said impatiently. Naruto frowned.

"Kiba? Well, I'm not surprised, his sister-"

"Nevermind, I gotta go," Sasuke interrupted him. Naruto bristeled about his brief and meaningless conversation.

"Fine, I won't tell him why Sakura and Kiba have been hanging out more often!" Naruto stuck his tongue out at the door.

Sakura walked slowly through Konoha, exhausted.

"Jeez, I have to stop training with Kiba," Sakura mumbled as she stumbled to her apartment, which just happened to be a floor under Sasuke's. She fumbeled around in her bag for the key and pressed it clumsily into the lock. Once she was inside, she dropped her bag by the couch and locked the door. She slumped onto the couch, rubbing her eyes. She laid down on the couch, putting her hand oiver her eyes until a buzzing woke her up.

"Damn cell phone," Sakura mumbled angrily, pulling it out of her bag. She had a message from her brother.

"'Sakura, I wanted to tell you that tomorrow I need to to come down to my apartment and help me with the-'"

"Ahhhh!" Sakura screamed as a hand rested on her shoulder. She spun around and bumped into Sasuke.

"S-Sasuke! You scared me!" Sakura said breathlessly. Sasuke looked at her expressionlessly.

"Uh, how did you get in here?" she asked slowly. He held up a spare key.

"Remember you gave me a spare key?" he asked. Sakura giggled.

"Sorry, I forgot," she sat down, patting the seat next to her for Sasuke to come and sit, but he refused to budge.

"Sakura, I wanted to talk to you," Sasuke started. Sakura scrunched her eyebrows.

"Yeah?" she asked. Sasuke took a deep breath.

"What's going on between you and Kiba?" he asked. Sakura's eyes widened.

"There's nothing going on between me and Kiba, who told you that?" she asked. Sasuke shook his head.

"I saw you two in the forest." he said simply. Sakura raised her eyebrows.

"Are you talking about this afternoon? I was helping him train!" Sakura laughed. Sasuke's eyes flashed angrily. Sakura looked taken aback.

"Why do you care so much, Sasuke?" she asked softly. He looked away.

"I don't, I just think you owe me, as your friend, an explanation of your relationships," Sasuke said. Sakura bristeled.

"My relationship is your business?" she asked, scoffing. Sasuke folded his arms.

"Yes," he said. Sakura sighed angrily.

"Sasuke, you're such a sadictive bastard!" she cried. Sasuke seemed unmoved.

"I still want to know what's been going on between you two, and don't give me that trainging crap," he added. Sakura's nostrils flared. Fine, I'll tell him, Sakura thought.

"We were having hot sweaty sex in the forest, happy?" she asked, turning on her heel and marching up to her bedroom.
