Scandal in Konoha Pt.2

"Kiba did, something, horrible to me earlier. I thought he was someone who cared about me, but he turned out to be a player," Sakura said bitterly. Sasuke's eyes hardened.

"Inuzuka, huh? That bitch, he'll get what's coming to him," Sasuke said. Sakura looked up at him.

"What do you mean, Sasuke-kun?" she asked.

"Sakura, that jerk isn't going to get away for hurting you this bad! I'll teach him to mess with anyone again," Sasuke said, a contemptous smile on his lips. Sakura giggled for the first time that night.

"Why did I date Kiba when Sasuke-kun was right here?' Sakura asked herself, shocked that she had chosen that dirty dog-lover over someone as handsome and intelligent as Sasuke.

"But Sasuke-kun, why would you do something like that for me? I thought I was annoying," Sakura said, blushing. Sasuke smirked at her.

"You are annoying, but you're still my friend," Sasuke siad.

'What am I saying? I want her to be more than a friend to me! No, I will not take advantage of her while she's on the rebound.' Sasuke said to himself, promising that he wouldn't go any firther with Sakura while she was like this.

"Anyway, are you ok now? Do you want me to walk you home?" Sasuke asked her uncertainly. Sakura smiled at him.

"Yeah, I would like it of you walked me home," she said. Sasuke stood up and offered his hand to Sakura.

When they finally got to her apartment, Sakura started to search through her bag for her keys.

"Oh no! I must have lost them somewhere!" Sakura cried exasperatedly. She ran her fingers through her hair.

"It's ok, Sakura, we can look for them tomorrow. You can crash at my place tonight," Sasuke said, blushing a little, despite himself. Sakura looked up, surprised.

"Are you serious, Sasuke-kun?" the solitary Uchiha had never been this nice to her. But then again, Sasuke was a gentleman. Even if he thought her the most annoying human being on Earth, if she had no place to go, he would have offered his home to her.

"Yeah, why not? I'm sure you dropped them at the park or something. Until then, you need a place to sleep. Come on, let's go," Sasuke said, turning around to get to his place. Sakura followed him, blushing. It turned out that Sasuke didn't live to far away from Sakura. He opened the door and stepped aside, letting Sakura in first. He shut the door behind them and locked it.

"Wow, Sasuke-kun, i've never seen the inside of here before; it's so neat in here!" Sakura said. Even HER room wasn't as neat as this. Sasuke chuckled.

"Glad you liked it. Here," He said, taking her bag and putting it by the door. He pointed to the bed.

"You can sleep here. I'll go sleep on this couch," Sakura looked up.

"What? Sasuke-kun, I couldn't let you do that!" she said, blushing yet again that Sasuke would offer up his bed.

"Yes, you will let me do that. The couch isn't uncomfortable anyway, it's no problem." Sasuke said, grabbing a spare blanket and pillow from the closet. Sakura smiled at him, about to sit on the bed when Sasuke threw some clothes at her.

"Here, you can sleep in these," he told her without turning around. Sakura almost fainted.

'Holy crap! I'm gonna wear Sasuke's clothes! CHA!' Inner Sakura yelled. Sasuke showed her the bathroom and grabbed a pair shorts from his closet, taking off his shirt. Sakura came out of the bathroom a little later, wearing Sasuke's sweats. He was laying on the couch, reading a book when Sakura entered. Sakura's heart skipped a beat when she realized that she would be sleeping so close to a half-naked Sasuke.

"Are you tired at all, Sakura?" Sasuke asked, noticing how good he looked in his clothes. Sakura was a little self-concious about the clothes and fidgeted incomfortably under Sasuke's gaze.

"Yeah, I think i'll go to bed. G'night, Sasuke-kun, thank-you for everything, again!" Sakura said, crawling under Sasuke's covers.

"No problem. G'night." He said, flicking off the light so they could get to bed. But Sasuke didn't go to bed right away. He watched Sakura sleep for a while, watching her perfectly developed chest rise and fall in a steady pattern. When he finally got to sleep, his dreams were filled with Sakura in a bikini asking if he wanted anything for supper.

Hinata was sitting outside her apartment door, looking up at the sky. SIlent tears were falling from her cheeks onto her lap. She felt so used and betrayed, and by one of her teammates! While she was thinking, she heard someone coming up the stairs, but she didn't care. It was Naruto, on his way up to his apartment, two floors up from Hinata. He noticed her sitting outside her door and wondered what was wrong.

"Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked uncertainly. Hinata looked up, wiping the tears from her cheek.

"O-oh, hey, Naruto-kun," Hinata said, looking down. Naruto sat down beside her.

"Hinata-chan, what happened? Are you hurt?" Naruto asked, concerned for the young kounoichi.

"In a way I am, Naruto-kun, but I'll be alright," Hinata managed a little, watery smile before a few more tears slithered down her cheek.

"What happened? Who hurt you?" Naruto asked, trying to look into her white eyes, but she refused to look into his bright blue ones.

"Nothing happened, Naruto-kun, nothing happened," Hinata said slowly, looking up at the moon. Naruto frowned.

"Hinata, you can tell me anything, you know that," He whispered. Hinata looked at him.

"I-it was Kiba. He led me on, making me think I was special, but instead I was a wekkend fling," Hinata said, more tears falling onto her lap. Naruto growled.

"Kiba! What a jerk! He should have been thankful to even LOOK at you, let alone dating you! Bastard, I'll kill him!" Naruto ranted, making Hinata giggle.

'What on Earth made me fall for Kiba when Naruto-kun was right here?' Hinata asked herself, much like Sakura had done a little while ago.

"I promise you that Kiba won't get away for cheating on you!" Naruto said forcefully. He got up, offering Hinata his hand. She grabbed it and pulled herself up. On the way up, she tripped and fell into Naruto's arms. They're faces were only a few inches apart as Hinata grabbed on to Naruto. After a while, Hinata extracted herself from Naruto grasp.

"Well, good night, then, Naruto-kun. Thank-you for listening," Hinata said, blushing furiously. Naruto was kind of dazed, but answred her.

"No problem, Hinata-chan," He said, walking to the stairs as Hinata's door shut behind her. When he reached his floor, he stopped.

'What was that I felt when I caught Hinata?' He asked himself. He had never felt this way before, even with Sakura.

"Oh well," He whispered into the night, opening up the door to his apartment and locking it behind him.
